As a new benefits-eligible employee, you have 30 days from your hire date or employment status change date to complete your benefits enrollment. Your benefits are effective on the first day of your employment or status change date. Verification documents must be uploaded within 30 days of new hire or qualifying life event (QLE).

Review Your Benefit Options
You have 31 days from your new hire/benefits eligibility date to enroll in your benefits. Utilize this site to learn more about the different options available to you before you enroll. Once ready, you can enroll at www.aegbenefits.com.

Dependent Eligibility
You may enroll your eligible dependent in the same plans that you choose for yourself.
Dependents you can cover include:
- Legal spouse
- Same or opposite-sex domestic partner
- Dependent child(ren) up to age 26 (Benefits automatically terminate on the last day of the month of the child’s 26th birthday)
- Any child 26 and older who resides with you and who was medically certified as disabled, prior to his/her 26th birthday, and who is primarily dependent upon your support

Enroll in Your Benefits
You can enroll in or make changes to your medical, dental, vision and Flexible Spending Accounts within 31 days of your hire date, during the annual Open Enrollment Period every November, and within 31 days of a Qualified Life Event. You can make changes to other benefits such as your 401(k), Health Savings Account (HSA) and voluntary benefits at any time during the year.
