Adding a Dependent
If you are adding a dependent to your benefits for the first time, follow the instructions below.
You must provide supporting documentation as proof of the dependent relationship (ex: marriage certificate, birth certificate, tax return, etc.). Remember to upload your supporting documentation within 14 days of completing your enrollment or your dependents will not receive benefits!
Here's What To Do
1. Find Your Verification Initial Letter
Visit www.almacbenefits.com and click on the drop down menu next to your name at the top of the page. Then select Personal Documents and look for the Verification Initial Letter – PDF.

2. Submit Your Documents in One of Three Ways
- Option A - Using MyChoice benefits app: Take a picture of your document and follow the prompts to upload it.
- Option B - Through the website: Log in to www.almacbenefits.com. Go to your Message Center and reply to the "Submit Documentation to Verify Eligibility" message. Upload your documents (PDF or JPEG files are best).
- Option C - Via Email: If you prefer to email your documents, follow the below steps:
- In the email subject line, write: "Almac – Your Name" (for example, "Almac – John Smith").
- Attach the cover letter from your Verification Initial Letter, your supporting documents, and any extra details.
- Send your email to dv@businessolver.com
Note: Send these as attachments, not in the email body.

3. Wait for Confirmation
Uploading your documents online is the fastest and most secure way to verify your dependents, often resulting in instant verification. If the document isn't recognized immediately, validation may take up to 7 business days. Emailing documents will take 7-10 business days to process.
If you do not provide the required documentation by the deadline, your dependents will not receive benefits.
