Navigating Benefitsolver
Where to Find Information
You can find plan information in multiple spots within Benefitsolver.
- Reference Center - Located at the top of your page, this drop down contains folders filled with information on each of our plans.
- Microsites - These drop downs will link to pages for each of our plans. The pages will give an overview of the benefit along with links to any key documents.
- Compare Plans - This will give you a side by side on our 3 medical plans, allowing for a quick overview of the cost, deductibles, coinsurance, and more.
- Sofia - She is our AI. You can ask her anything about our plans...or even ask her to tell you a joke.
Where to Make Elections
It's easy to elect your benefits!
Newly Eligible - When you are newly eligible, you will see the Start Here button. That will take you through your options as a newly eligible employee.
Mid-year Changes - If you experience a qualifying life event during the year and need to make changes to your plans, you will click Change My Benefits on the home page. From there you will select the appropriate Life Event from the list. Reminder - you must make changes within 30 days of your qualifying life event and upload the requested documents for verification.
Dependent Verification
You will be required to verify your dependents upon your initial enrollment. Document examples are listed below.
Spouse - Marriage certificate or most recent tax document showing as married
Domestic Partner - Domestic partner affidavit
Child - Birth certificate listing you as a parent or most recent tax document showing dependent child
Step child - Child's birth certificate and your marriage certificate listing the child's parent as your spouse
Medical Plan Only - If you are enrolling your spouse/domestic partner, you'll need to upload the Spouse/Domestic Partner Medical Plan Eligibility Affidavit
Where to Review Elections
You can continue to review and edit your elections during your enrollment window as a newly eligible employee. Once your elections are complete - make sure you click through until you get a confirmation number - you can view your elections by clicking your Businessolver Benefit Summary on your home page.
