Non-exempt Primary Childcare
Non-exempt Primary Childcare Benefit Non-exempt employees with children 5 years and younger who use primary childcare during working hours may enroll in the Non-exempt Primary Childcare Benefit. The benefit provides $200 a month to help offset the cost of primary childcare. Go to MyHealthBenefits to enroll. If you enroll during Annual Enrollment, you will receive your benefit beginning with the second January paycheck.

Free membership to Care.com to help your family find vetted and high-quality childcare centers, nannies, babysitters, and more.
Dedicated Near-site Backup Childcare
(Available to Oregon employees only.) Intel has partnered with Patch to provide a backup childcare center exclusively for Intel employees. Drop your child off when your regular care falls through during working hours.
Backup Childcare
Backup childcare offers support when you need it most and is $100 per day up to 15 days per year for up to 3 children. Intel's drop off arrangement includes the Learning Care Group and KinderCare. Backup care at Learning Care Group and KinderCare is at no cost to you.
Conception Benefits
Intel covers conception costs for anyone enrolled in the Connected Care options or the Anthem options. This includes a lifetime maximum of $40,000 for expanded conception services, with $20,000 of prescription drug coverage for conception related conditions. HMO coverage may vary.
Cord Blood Benefit
Intel recognizes the health advantages that come with storing your child's umbilical cord after birth. Intel provides reimbursement for long-term storage of cord tissue and cord blood.
Adoption Assistance
Intel reimburses qualified adoption expenses up to $15,000 per adoption. You are eligible to participate if you are a regular full-time employee, part-time employee or an expatriate on U.S. payroll. There is no lifetime maximum on number of adoptions. Certain expenses that are eligible for Intel reimbursement may be subject to federal income taxation.
Dependent Care Assistance Program
The Dependent Care Assistance Program allows you to set aside pre-tax funds to reimburse you for eligible dependent care expenses—up to $7,500 a year if you file taxes jointly or $3,750 per parent per year if you file separately.
RethinkCare
RethinkCare is a free benefit that provides support to Intel parents caring for children with learning or behavioral challenges. RethinkCare is not part of a health plan. There is no diagnosis required, no age limit or restriction and no cost.
Paid Bonding Leave
Intel Paid Bonding Leave provides eligible employees up to 12 work weeks of paid leave to bond with a child.
You may take it for a continuous 12-work-week period, or it may be split into two segments. During that time, you will receive leave pay that is approximately what your regular pay is, including commissions and shift differentials.
New Parent Reintegration
Once you do return to work, you have the option to temporarily modify your work schedule when returning from Intel Paid Bonding. As a new parent, transition back to a regular full-time schedule by working a part-time schedule for up to 30 calendar days while receiving full-time pay.
Learning Care Group and KinderCare Education Discounts
Intel’s preferred supplier for childcare, KinderCare Education, offers employees a discount on enrollment for full- or part-time care, along with waived waitlist, registration and annual re-enrollment fees. The primary childcare network through Learning Care Group and KinderCare Education offers a 15% discount on in-center tuition, waived registration fees and priority registration.

Tutor.com™ and The Princeton Review provides online tutoring services, test prep modules and access to other educational resources accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no cost to Intel employees and their family members.
College Coach
Bright Horizons' College Coach benefit assists Intel employees with all aspects of their children’s middle and high school planning, college selection and application processes, financing college and paying off student loans. This program is comprised of live events, personalized assistance and in-depth online resources and is provided at no cost to Intel employees.
Additional Benefits
Andy Grove Scholarship for Intel Employees' Children The Intel Foundation pledges funds annually for the Andy Grove Scholarship for Intel Employees' Children program. The program offers a combination of merit-based and need-based competitive scholarships for students pursuing two- or four-year accredited undergraduate degrees or the international equivalent. Nursing mother rooms available onsite: These rooms come equipped with refrigerators for milk storage and sinks. Expectant Mother Parking: These spots are marked by special sign and are available upon request. Virtual Learning: Enroll in the Having a Baby at Intel class. This class covers leave benefits, the process for getting paid while on leave, tips to transition back to work and additional resources. Community Support: Join Intel Parents Network, a cross-site employee group established to support working parents before, during, and after the addition of new children into their families.
