Aon Cost Modeler
Interested in comparing the cost of your different health care options?
You can access the Aon Cost Modeler at the bottom of this page. In order to use the modeler, you will need to enable macros and enter the password. The password can be found on our Documents, Notices, and Forms Insider Page.
Please note that accessing this tool can get tricky. If you are experiencing difficulties, PDF versions of the cost modeler can be found by geographic location on the Documents, Notices, and Forms Insider Page.
When Open Enrollment officially begins on November 5, you will see pricing on the RTI Benefits Portal as part of your enrollment opportunity.
Important: If you are living abroad or in Puerto Rico, you will not be able to use the Aon Cost Modeler.
How to use the Aon Cost Modeler
- Download the applicable Cost Modeler Excel file on your computer in your Downloads folder. (e.g., RTI_Active_PDF_2026AEMod, RTI_COBRA_PDF_2026AEMod, etc)
- Right-click the file and select Properties.
- In the General tab, look near the bottom for the Security section.
- Look for the checkbox labeled Unblock, check it.
- Click Apply, then OK.
- Open the file and enter the password. You can obtain the password on RTI Insider => Documents, Notices, and Forms (you must be connected to RTI’s VPN/network to access this page).
- Enter current zip code
- Drop down box - select eligibility group: If you are a full-time employee, select "Full-Time Employee." For part-time employees, select the FTE band your FTE falls within.
- Drop down box - select how you want to view your premiums: Monthly or Bi-monthly.
- Click on the "Explore Your Options" link. A PDF will then be generated and saved to the folder where you have your Excel Cost Modeler file located.
