2024 Wellness Program Requirement - Complete 1 of 3 Activities:
- Complete a biometric screening with your physician and submit the results form (found on the MyWellness portal).
- Complete a biometric screening at a QUEST Diagnostics Center
- Complete 2 Daily Habits courses Available courses include, Balance Your Diet, Keep Stress in Check, Lose Weight, Diabetes, Enjoy Exercise, Quit Tobacco, and Hypertension.
Members who complete the Wellness Incentive by November 15, 2024 will SAVE up to $390 ($7.50 weekly) in 2025 by avoiding the wellness surcharge.
Health Savings Account (HSA) Funding Limit Increase
- Currently: $250 contribution and $500 match.
- For 2025: $250 contribution and increasing to a $550 match dollar for dollar, total of $800 potential employer contribution.
Considering a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA)?
A High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA) is a great, money-saving option for many people. Here are some possible benefits of selecting an HDHP/HSA:
- The HDHP has lower premiums, which means less money is taken out of your paycheck.
- HSAs offer tax-free savings, with HSA contributions taken from your pay before payroll taxes, reducing your taxable income and saving you money on taxes.
- HSAs are portable and can grow over time. You can keep your HSA if you leave Saber. You can continue to add money to your HSA account as long as you have an HDHP, invest the money in your account, and use the funds for future medical expenses, even in retirement.
- 2025 HSA Funding Limits: $4,300 employee, $8,550 family. Employees over 55 may contribute an additional $1,000 "catch-up" contribution for the plan year.
