What's New & Changing for 2026?

For 2026, Saber Healthcare Group is keeping your benefits stable—there are no plan design changes. However, there are some rate and contribution updates you’ll want to review. With only financial changes, this is a great year to:

  • Compare your plan options and costs
  • Take advantage of Saber’s contributions to your Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Explore wellness resources that support your overall health and financial wellbeing

Financial Updates


  • Dental Plan: Rates will increase by 5%
  • Medical Plan: Rates will increase, with a larger impact on the PPO plan
  • HSA Contributions if you have the Blue Access HSA Medical Plan:
  • Employee-only coverage: Saber contributes up to $800 total to your HSA - $250 “gift” contribution (paid in quarterly increments of $62.50) - Up to $550 dollar-for-dollar matching contribution
  • Employee + dependents coverage: Saber contributes up to $850 total to your HSA - 300 upfront “gift” contribution (paid quarterly in $75 increments) (NEW for 2026 – this is a $50 increase over 2025) - Up to $550 dollar-for-dollar matching contribution
  • Tobacco & Wellness Surcharges: Both increasing to $10 weekly. Visit Your Wellbeing to learn how you can avoid these surcharges by participating in Saber’s Wellness or Quit By WebMD programs.

Which Medical Plan Should You Choose?


Saber offers two Anthem medical plans to choose from:

  • Blue Access PPO Medical Plan
  • Blue Access HSA Medical Plan – a High-Deductible Health Plan paired with a Health Savings Account that Saber contributes to (see Financial Updates at left for details)

Resources to Support Your Wellness


  • Tobacco Cessation Program Available through MyWellness powered by WebMD ONE—tools and support to help you quit tobacco for good. Participating in this program can also help you avoid the tobacco surcharge.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Free, confidential support available 24/7 for you and your immediate family members. Get help with personal, emotional, financial, or work-related challenges whenever you need it.
  • Lincoln Health Assessment Benefit If you’re enrolled in Accident and/or Critical Illness coverage, you can earn an annual cash benefit simply by completing health assessment screenings.
  • MyWellness powered by WebMD ONE Partnership between Saber Healthcare and WebMD to help you bring out your best. Based on your personal needs and interests, it will help you set goals, track your progress, keep you motivated, and provide valuable information along the way.
  • Teladoc (Livongo) Get support to manage chronic conditions with personalized guidance and care plans at no cost to you.
