Who Can Be Covered

You (and, if applicable, your spouse, domestic partner, and/or dependent children) are eligible for coverage if:

  • You are an active full-time employee.
  • You work at least 30 hours per week as a part time employee.
  • If your spouse/domestic partner has access to other medical insurance coverage, they are not eligible to be covered under the medical plan.
  • An eligible child is married or unmarried and is under 26 years of age. Coverage will end at the end of the month in which they turn 26.

If your spouse/domestic partner has access to medical insurance through their employer, they are not eligible to be covered on the plan. This applies to medical coverage only.

Questions

During your enrollment, you will be asked to verify your spouse/domestic partners eligibility for the plan, provide your spouse/domestic partner employer's information, and their medical coverage availability.
