Open/Annual Enrollment
Open/Annual Enrollment is Date-Date, this is your opportunity to enroll for 2024 benefits. This interactive Benefits Café makes it easy for you to compare plans, review options, and pick the perfect benefits blend for you and your family.
When Can I Enroll?
- Open/Annual Enrollment: This is your annual opportunity to enroll or make changes to your benefits. Open/Annual Enrollment for 2024 is October 17-October 27, 2023. The benefits you pick will be active January 1 to December 31, 2024.
- New Hire Enrollment: If you’ve just been hired, you have 31 days from your hire date to enroll in benefits.
Eligibility
If you are an employee or associate regularly scheduled to work 25 or more hours a week, you are eligible for the benefits described in this guide. Interns are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and the commuter Flexible Spending Accounts.
When Can I Change My Benefits?
Outside of Open/Annual Enrollment and New Hire Enrollment, you can only modify your benefits if you experience one of the following changes, known as Qualified Life Events - marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, death, loss of a dependent status, or loss of coverage.
Note: You must make changes within 30 days of your Qualified Life Event
Covering Your Dependents
Eligible dependents include:
- Your legal spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite sex).
- Your dependent children (including natural, step, foster, or adopted) up to age 26. Note: coverage does not extend to your adult child’s spouse or children.
- Dependent children who are physically or mentally incapable of supporting themselves are eligible for extended coverage.
- For dependent life insurance, coverage for children begins on the date of birth.

MyChoice® Recommendation Engine
If you’re still not sure what coverage is the best fit for you and your family, the MyChoice Recommendation Engine can help. Simply opt to use the tool as you begin the enrollment process and it will ask you to answer a few questions about such things as your risk tolerance, your medical history, and any upcoming treatments. The MyChoice Recommendation Engine will use your answers o suggest a personalized benefits package recommendation.
MyChoice® Mobile App
The app lets you view your current benefits coverage, store ID cards, upload dependent verification documents, and process open enrollment and qualified life event changes.
