Bonding with your Child
Intel Paid Bonding Leave provides eligible employees up to 12 work weeks of paid leave to bond with a child. The Intel Paid Bonding Leave must be initiated and completed within the first 12 months following the child’s birth, adoption, or placement in foster care and the child must be born, adopted or placed in foster care after your Intel hire date. You may take it for a continuous 12-work week period, or it may be split into two segments. During that time, you will receive leave pay that is approximately what you regular pay is, including commissions and shift differentials.
Once you do return to work, you have the option to temporarily modify your work schedule through the New Parent Reintegration program making it easier for you to return to work.
