Bank Where You Work
Enhanced deposit, lending and investment perks for employees who bank at Santander, including borrowing discounts, reduced advisory fees on managed investment accounts, no fees charged by Santander for a cash withdrawal from your checking account at other banks' domestic ATMs, and more. Tuition Discounts and Reimbursement
To provide more support for your development, Santander’s Tuition Reimbursement Program reimburses eligible employees a portion of their costs to complete undergraduate and graduate degree programs at accredited colleges and universities. The program includes courses required to complete an approved certificate program, and certifications (including prep courses and exams) required to achieve an approved Certification/Designation or Recertification. Santander also offers tuition discounts at select colleges and universities. Full details about the program are available on the EdAssist website. University of Arizona Global Campus Reduced or No Cost Tuition
Santander is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for employees to support their personal growth. Through Santander's partnership with the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC), employees have the opportunity to complete an Associate, Bachelor's or Master's Degree program online at either no cost or a reduced cost. The discounts to the cost of UAGC tuition are made possible in conjunction with the Santander Tuition Reimbursement Program and EdAssist, our Program Administrator. UAGC is an accredited university offering 50+ undergraduate and graduate degree programs designed for working adults with busy schedules. Those seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree will be enrolled in UAGC’s Shared Tuition Savings program through which annual tuition is reduced to $3,500 after the $3,000 contribution from the Santander Tuition Reimbursement Program. Those seeking a Master’s Degree will be enrolled in UAGC’s Full Tuition Grant program, in which the $5,000 tuition will be fully paid by the Santander Tuition Reimbursement Program. Any reimbursements through the Tuition Reimbursement Program are subject to meeting the eligibility and requirements of the Program. Your actual cost of UAGC tuition will be determined by UAGC and could vary. Visit the UAGC website for more information and to speak with a UAGC representative.
Certain UAGC degree programs and emphases may not be available in all locations, as laws and participation vary from state to state. The program is not available in New York and Massachusetts and has limited availability in Arkansas, Minnesota, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Group Auto and Home Insurance Discounts
Through the Mercer Choice Auto and Home Insurance program you can obtain quotes from up to six top-rated national insurance companies and receive a discount of up to 15%. You can comparison shop the rates provided by the insurance companies at once, and there is no obligation to purchase any of the insurance coverages. There are three ways to contact Mercer for quotes:

- Visit the Mercer Choice website (for auto insurance only). You will need to create a username and password.
- Access the Mercer Choice link on the SanBenefits homepage for single sign-on to the Mercer Choice Website.
Mitsubishi VIP Purchase Program
All SanUS employees are eligible to receive a discount on the purchase or lease of new 2024 and 2025 model year Mitsubishi vehicles from participating Mitsubishi Motors Dealers through the VIP Purchase Program. Commuter Benefits Program
If you pay for mass transit or parking for work, you can save money by participating in Santander’s Commuter Benefits Program. This program lets you set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible parking and transit expenses.
The 2025 contribution limit is $325 per month for parking expenses and $325 per month for transit expenses.
Optum is our Commuter Benefits Program administrator. You can enroll in the program and set up a Commuter Transit and/or Commuter Parking Account through Optum at any time during the year, and you can change your elections from month to month. To enroll in the Commuter Benefits Program and make your pre-tax transit and/or parking elections, follow these instructions to access the Commuter Expense Reimbursement Account (CERA) page that aligns with your medical plan enrollment.
Perks at Work

Santander partners with Operation HOPE to provide financial well-being support for employees through personalized one on one financial counseling services with Alfred (A.J.) Washington, Santander’s dedicated Operation HOPE financial coach. A.J. provides confidential, personalized coaching, to help you achieve your financial goals through virtual sessions.

Computer Purchase Program
Through Santander’s Computer Purchase Program, regular full- and part-time employees with at least six months of service can receive reimbursement of up to 20% of the cost (up to $250) of a new computer, laptop or tablet once every three years. Fitness Discounts
An important part of staying happy and healthy is maintaining a regular physical activity routine. To help support healthy lifestyles, Santander offers access to discounts and other perks with two fitness programs:
- Equinox: As a Santander employee you have access to unique new-member benefits including reduced monthly dues. Select facilities are located in New York City, Boston and Miami. To join stop in at one of the Equinox Sports Club locations.
- HUSK: Through the HUSK program, all employees are eligible for exclusive offers and discounts on a comprehensive suite of wellness products and services such as in-person fitness, virtual fitness, equipment, nutrition, and health coaching. Take advantage of gym discounts at clubs like LA Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Blink, Curves, and select Planet Fitness locations. Pet Insurance Benefits
The cost to care for your dog or cat goes beyond food and treats. Unexpected vet visits can be expensive, but through MetLife Pet Insurance you can receive a group discount on premiums and obtain coverage for items such as illnesses, medications, exam fees and more. Premiums will be based on your dog or cat’s age, breed, location, gender and the coverage amount you select. To help care for your furry friends when you're away, through Santander's partnership with Bright Horizons, employees have access to Rover and Wag – industry-leading pet care providers, offering a wide range of services like overnight boarding, pet sitting, doggy daycare, dog walking, and cat drop-ins. They offer flexibility and accessibility, catering to your needs year-round, no matter where you are. There are no costs to you for these services.
