What's New for 2022

Top things to know about your benefits

New Vendors & Plan Choices

Effective 1/1/2022, you will have access to new plans and wellbeing programs.

If you are currently enrolled in medical, dental, and/ or vision and did not make any elections during open enrollment, you will automatically be enrolled in the Anthem CDHP1 medical plan, the Delta Dental of GA dental plan, and/or the VSP Base vision plan at the same coverage tier as current.

Medical Networks & ID Cards

The changes to your provider network are minimal in the translation to Anthem, but please check to ensure your current providers are in-network by calling Anthem Health Guides at 1-844-249-5368.

You will receive one ID card and have the same member ID for both medical and prescription drug coverages.

Pharmacy

To ensure there are no gaps in your medications, please visit https://www.optumrx.com/oe_ htctpremium/landing to see if your medications will be covered under the new formulary. If you are taking a medication that will not be covered in the new year, you should speak with your doctor about alternatives available. If you are taking a specialty medication and need assistance in the transition, please reach out to OptumRx as soon as January 1, 2022. Additional details can be found in the OptumRx FAQ document that will be made available in the Businessolver Reference Center.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

SSB offers an HSA through Bank of America for employees enrolled in one of the CDHPs. Employees who currently participate in the HSA through Optum can choose to keep current HSA funds with Optum, transfer funds into the SSB Bank of America HSA, or transfer funds to another eligible HSA. If you do not take action, funds will remain in your current Optum HSA. Please keep in mind that you may be charged a monthly administrative fee to maintain your Optum HSA. HSA contributions, beginning 1/1/2022, will be deposited into the Bank of America HSA. The cost of any fees associated with the transfer of your HSA funds from Optum to Bank of America will be covered by SSB.
