New associates have a one-time opportunity to elect optional and spouse life insurance without providing Evidence of Insurability, up to guarantee issue limits
Note: Disability benefits are offset by state disability insurance as applicable.
Support for you and your family on your parenting journey.
VF provides up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave to eligible associates who are new parents, within the first year of the birth or adoption. For new parents eligible for short-term disability, the paid parental leave period will begin after disability benefits have been exhausted.
Identity Theft Protection
Starting in 2026, Norton LifeLock will offer two enhanced plan options for identity theft protection at lower monthly rates—providing stronger protection for your personal identity, bank and credit information, and online security. Both plans include account alerts, help with fraud resolution and coverage for credit, identity and cybersecurity issues:
- Premier Plan: $7.99/month (individual) or $14.98/month (family)
- Premier Plus Plan: $12.49/month (individual) or $21.98/month (family)
Note
The Premier Plus plan offers all the protection of the Premier plan, along with enhanced cyber crime coverage and additional online privacy protection.
If you’re currently enrolled in the Essential plan, you’ll automatically move to the Premier plan at the lower monthly cost starting in January. Those currently enrolled in the Premier plan will be upgraded to the Premier Plus plan at the reduced cost in January.
Commuter Benefits
Set aside tax-free dollars to pay for eligible parking and transit expenses. There are two commuter benefit plans available to VF associates: a mass transit account and a parking account. You can enroll in one or both plans during Open Enrollment, with an effective date of January 1, 2026.
Both commuter plans allow you to:
- Set aside pre-tax dollars: Both plans allow you to have an amount of money taken out of your paycheck before certain taxes are calculated. This reduces your gross pay for W-2 purposes, which may lower your taxable income and your taxes.
- Contribute up to the IRS limit: The 2026 commuter account limits have yet to be announced. For 2025, you can contribute up to $325 per month.
- Change elections: Election changes are not limited by a plan year and can generally be updated monthly.
- Carry over unused funds: You carry over unused funds from month-to-month. If your needs change or you have built up a balance, you can adjust or even stop your elections while you continue to use your existing balance.

You’re free to use any vet and will get additional benefits for emergency boarding, lost pet advertising and more. Plus, the 24/7 VetHelpline is available as a service to all pet insurance members ($150 value).
