We’ve made a couple of changes to your AEP benefits this year. Here’s what you can expect in 2024:
Deductible Increase for HSA Basic Plan
The Individual Deductible for the HSA Basic Plan will increase to $3,200 for the 2024 calendar year. The Plan uses an embedded individual deductible for all coverage levels and requires the use of no less than this minimum deductible required by the IRS for family coverage.
Health Savings Account (HSA) Contribution Increase
The maximum amount you can contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA) for 2024 has increased to $4,150 for self-only coverage and $8,300 if you cover more than yourself. If you are 55 or older, you can contribute an additional $1,000 as a catch-up contribution.
