Medical Plan Options for 2023
You will have the opportunity to choose from four medical plan options for 2023: the PPO High, PPO Low, the HDHP, or the Value HDHP.
You must make an active election for your 2023 medical benefits. If you make no election, you will be defaulted into the Value HDHP, with your same coverage level (team member-only, team member + family, and so on).
What is Changing for 2023
Sazerac helps share the cost of your medical benefits and pays a generous portion of the total cost of coverage. For 2023, there will be coverage enhancements to the Sazerac Medical Plans. Additionally, the medical plan payroll deductions are changing for 2023.

All of Sazerac’s Medical Plans Offer:
- Flexibility to see any provider you want, although you’ll save money when you stay in-network.
- Free in-network preventive care, with services such as annual physicals, recommended immunizations, flu shots, and routine cancer screenings.
- Prescription drug coverage.
- Financial protection through annual out-of-pocket maximums that limit the amount you’ll pay each year.
Concierge Services for Medical Benefits
Sazerac team members who enroll in a Sazerac medical plan will have access to a new program – Total Health Total You. This program is designed to help you get simple, personalized, and relevant health support, when you need it most.
Anthem Total Health Total You can help you:
- Stay on top of your preventive care with reminders and appointment-scheduling support.
- Connect with the right programs for your health needs.
- Compare costs for healthcare services, find in-network doctors, and more!

This program is only available to team members enrolled in Sazerac’s medical plan.
Access to Healthcare at Your Fingertips
As a part of the Total Health Total You program, you have access to the Anthem Engage Wellbeing mobile app, a place to keep all your benefits and health resources in one convenient location.
With Engage you can:
- Find healthcare providers
- Estimate costs of procedures
- Telemedicine services

Sazerac team members and dependents enrolled in the Anthem Sazerac medical plans have access to ConsumerMedicalSM. ConsumerMedical is your Medical Ally® that provides you with access to a team of nurses, physicians, and medical researchers to help you choose the right doctor, get a second opinion, or support you if you’ve been recommended for surgery.
Surgery Decision Support:
