DLL partners with Progyny and Vanguard to administer the programs highlighted below.

  1. Work with Progyny’s top fertility specialists, if you are covered under a DLL medical plan, to provide greater pregnancy success, healthier pregnancies, and healthier babies. (The DLL plan will offer a level of coverage for things like egg and sperm freezing, donor tissue purchasing, or in vitro fertilization).
  2. Surrogacy and Adoption Assistance will offer a lifetime reimbursement benefit of up to $10,000 to all benefit eligible members looking to explore one of these paths.
  3. The 401k plan managed by Vanguard will allow any enrolled member to withdraw up to $5,000 to help pay for expenses within the first year of a birth or adoption of a child.

Note: The person(s) receiving fertility treatment must be enrolled in an eligible medical plan through DLL to have access to the Progyny benefit. Your financial responsibility may include a deductible, coinsurance, copayment and/or out-of-pocket maximum.

Surrogacy and adoption reimbursement is available to all benefit eligible members.

  • Your plan now offers a way to help pay for births and adoptions
  • Your workplace retirement plan now offers a special provision that allows you to withdraw some of your savings to cover the expenses associated with births and adoptions.

What you need to know

  • You may withdraw up to $5,000 within a year of each birth or legal adoption.
  • You will owe income tax on the amount that you withdraw.
  • Even if you’re younger than age 59½, you won’t have to pay a 10% early withdrawal penalty
