2023 Benefit Updates

There will be changes to the PPO plan design for 2023. In addition, contributions for all health plans will increase in 2023. Updates to the PPO:

  • Annual In-network deductible for inpatient hospital and emergency room services will be $300 for single and $600 for family coverage (up from $250/$500)
  • Annual Out of network deductible will be $2,700 for single and $5,400 for family coverage (up from $2,250/$4,500)
  • Annual In and out of network out of pocket maximum $4,500 for single and $9,000 for family coverage (up from $4,250/$8,500)

Note: No changes to the dental plan or rates.

NEW Wellness Reward Program Structure

A new interactive way to earn your points for the reward program.

  1. Two Required Activities (Member, Spouse/Domestic Partner) - 25 points Each a. Self-Certify the Annual Preventive Exam b. Complete that Real Age Test on Sharecare
  2. Earn additional by completing a variety of engaging options available on Sharecare a. Member must earn 100 additional points b. Spouse/Domestic Partner must earn 50 additional points

New Vision Plan and Rates

  • Changed vision administrator to Ameritas
  • Ameritas uses the EyeMed network ; No change in network of providers
  • Decrease in cost for DLL members

Enrollment Checklist

Ensure you have completed the following:

  1. Compare plan options and costs
  2. Ensure you have added and selected each dependent in your family who should have coverage
  3. If you are adding a domestic partner (DP) please complete the DP affidavit as required by the plan
  4. Add your beneficiaries in dllbenefits.com for life insurance and vanguard.com for the 401k.
