What You Need to Know About Your Benefits

When it's time to enroll, visit the Jacobs Benefits Center by logging into getjacobsbenefits.com.

If this is your first time accessing the Jacobs Benefits Center, you have two options to set up your account. You can either log in using the single sign on link to access the system with your Jacobs credentials, or you can register your account as prompted from that sign in page.

1

You have until November 16 to enroll or make changes

We strongly encourage you to actively review all benefits elections to ensure your coverage continues to meet you and your family's needs and budget. As costs continue to rise, some plans may see premium increases, making it important to review your options. Most current benefits elections will automatically carry over into 2027.

2

Action Required

If you wish to participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA), you must actively enroll during Benefits Open Enrollment. If you do not take action, your contributions to these accounts will default to $0 for 2027.

3

Changes to Bronze Plus medical plan

In 2027, employee and family deductibles are increasing for the Bronze Plus medical plan. Employee and family out-of-pocket maximums are decreasing for the Bronze Plus medical plan, too.

To see a chart outlining the plan details for 2027, as well as all other medical options, visit the Medical and Rx page.

4

Contribution limit increases for 2027

Each year, the IRS determines how much you can contribute to your HSA, FSA, DCFSA, and Commuter Benefits:

HSA: $4,500 (employee only), $9,000 (family)

FSA: $3,400*

DCFSA: $7,500 (family), $3,750 (married, filing separately)

Commuter Benefits: $340/month

*Visit the Jacobs Benefits Portal to see the latest once the IRS announces 2027 limits.

5

New benefit: Kardia

With KardiaCare, you can monitor your heart when it works for you, access personalized reports and insights , and get additional support when you need it—all from the convenience of home. Learn more about Kardia on the Additional Health Benefits page.

Plus, employees have special access to enroll in the Bank of America Preferred Rewards® program which includes, no fees on select everyday banking services, interest rate discounts on auto loans, no monthly maintenance fee on eligible checking and savings accounts, and much more.

7

Long-Term Disability (LTD) increase

Don’t miss the opportunity to enroll in LTD coverage with no Evidence of Insurability (EOI) required. Maximum coverage for Long-Term Disability (LTD) is increasing from $15,000 to $20,000 in 2027.

8

Prepping to enroll in benefits

As you prepare to enroll in your benefits, review the information on this site and/or download our Aon Cost Modeler. Now is a great time to confirm your home address is correct in Jacobs Oracle, and your notification preferences are up to date. You will want to gather information about your medication and doctors. And, if adding dependents to 2027 coverage, have your dependent verification documentation ready.
